Meet the 2026 Chevy Spark

An Electric Crossover With Nearly 250 Miles of Range

The Chevy Spark EUV will be available for the 2026 model year. Learn what to expect from the resurrected EV.

Chevrolet will bring back the Spark and the EUV nameplate for the 2026 model year with an affordable, all-new Chevy Spark EUV. The four-door crossover is predicted to perform admirably in its new territories of South America, Africa, and the Middle East.

The company hopes that introducing the new EV into relevant markets will help ease a transition into EV export markets, so it won’t be at your local Chevrolet dealer. Drivers in relevant countries can discover what to expect below.

Chevy Puts China’s EV Tech to Work

The Chevy Spark EUV will be a rebadged Baojun Yep Plus SUV. The SAIC-GM-Wuling joint venture designed the original Chinese SUV, and the four-door crossover has already achieved popularity in China.

The MY2026 Chevrolet Spark EU will be powered by the same 101-hp, 130 lb-ft motor as its Baojun-badged predecessors, and, like them, it will feature FWD. The Baojun uses a 42 kWh LFP battery that’s good for up to 220 miles with regenerative braking turned on.

Drivers Will Love the Spark’s Bold Style

The Spark will debut exclusively with the ACTIV trim. It will feature a boxy exterior with bold, two-tone styling and sporty 16-inch wheels.

The EV SUV will offer six vibrant color options, including Sea Blue/Polar White, Gentle Gray/Star Twinkle Black, and Milky Tea, as well as accessories like ground effects, side moldings, and assist steps.

Even better, drivers will get access to various unique accessories and themes to make their new Spark SUVs feel like their own. Though it will be packed with personality, the Spark will also be a practical vehicle that makes an excellent daily driver.

What to Expect From the New Spark

The new Chevy Spark will have an 8.8-inch digital instrument cluster and a 10.1-inch infotainment touchscreen. It will come standard with smartphone integration, as well.

The new Spark is designed to be modern, stylish, highly personalizable, and fun to drive. The downside? It’s relatively low-tech by EV standards.

The Chevrolet Spark EUV tops out its charging at 50 kW. Compare that to the 300+ kW Tesla models or 480 kW Chinese brands, which seems unimpressive. However, it should be enough to meet the needs of the average Chevy Spark driver.

Where Can I Buy a Chevy Spark EUV?

The Chevy Spark EUV won’t be available at your local Chevrolet dealer. It’s only slated to be released in certain countries, including the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Kuwait, Lebanon, Iraq, and other Middle Eastern nations.

The automaker has yet to release any official pricing information and has not indicated that it will release the EV in the USA anytime soon. With the Baojun Yep priced at less than $12,000 US, though, it’s safe to assume that the Spark will have a thoroughly reasonable price point.
